Colour Run

For the past month the Year 11 Sport & Recreation VCAL class has been working to build, organise and run a Colour Run for the 650 students at Mt Eliza Primary School.  Mornington Secondary College students were involved in every part of the planning process and designed and built all of the obstacle course that was used. Costumes were designed and made along with the organisation and cooking of a huge sausage sizzle for the whole primary school. Bells Meats in Mount Martha and Mt Eliza Woolworths both kindly donated sausages for this event and Mt Eliza Bakers’ Delight donated the bread.

Our students were a huge hit with the primary school students and the day took on a party atmosphere. This was largely due to the HUGE amount of work the VCAL students put in to make this event run as smoothly as it did. Needless to say we have been asked to run another one next year!
