Foundation: In Term Three, Foundation students will continue to practise and refine their Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS). We will look to increase the rigor of small team games to incorporate the FMS skills. Commencing week five, the students will participate in a four-week Ultimate Frisbee program.

 

In week one, the students complete a short P.E with Joe fitness circuit. We then moved on to learning about the Indigenous Flag and what each colour symbolises. The students also developed an understanding of some key Aboriginal Sport stars and the role they have played in our Country’s sporting culture.  

 

Level 1 & 2: The Level 1 and 2 Students will continue to practise and refine their Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS). Commencing week five, the students will participate in a four-week Ultimate Frisbee program.

 

In week one, the students complete a short P.E with Joe fitness circuit which taught students how the body can move and hold through different exercises. 

Due to production practice, only 2A completed the fitness testing sessions that included a different range of activities that the students had to participate in e.g. Beep Test.

 

Level 3 & 4: The Level 3 & 4 students will be introduced to both Target and Invasion games for this term. We will begin with skill practise before moving into any match play. The intension of this is so students have an understanding of the required skills that are needed to participate in the game. It also allows them to build confidence before moving into gameplay.

 

Due to Production Practice, 34B were fortunate enough in completed the last Golf lesson that was scheduled for last term. In this session, they continued to apply the three different strokes involved in golf, driving, chipping and putting.

 

Level 5 & 6: The Level 5 & 6 students will be introduced to both Target and Invasion games for this term. We will begin with skill practise before moving into any match play. The intention of this structure is so students have understanding of the required skills that are needed to participate in the game.
