SJV Concert

It's Term 3 2021 and that means ...It’s concert time!

Even though we are in lockdown at the moment we are still aiming to prepare for and perform our 2021 School Concert!

We are expecting that if allowed to go ahead, our SJV biennial ‘Covid normal’ concert will LOOK very different due to government and venue restrictions.  The restrictions mean that we have to limit our numbers. Every venue has a maximum capacity.  This means that we have had to be very creative this year.

So, rather than having two P-6 concerts, we will have FOUR performances (see below) over the 2 days- two matinee sessions and two evening sessions. This will enable maximum audience numbers (currently around 250 people) at each performance.

The theme of the SJV concert is For Love of the Earth. This will comprise FOUR individual, sustainability based concerts - Prep, Yr.1/2, Yr.3/4, and Yr.5/6.

Promoting Sustainability across  the school has been one of our underpinning goals this year at SJV and this series of concerts seeks to highlight key elements of student learning through the Arts.

The four performances will take place

ON: Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15th September

AT: Crossway, 2 Vision Drive, Burwood East, Victoria 3151

CONCERT STRUCTURE:
