Visual and Creative Arts

The Art rooms have been extremely busy since the students returned from the recent lockdown.

All of our senior Art students have been frantically working on final artworks for their practical folios. Many have worked through lunch times and have also stayed back after school to achieve the best results possible!

Year 11 students have produced a vast range of mediums such as gelly prints, drypoint etching, linoprinting and monoprinting. The theme of their printmaking work was ‘Wonder’ and they have explored their cultural world and looked at different ways to express their ideas.

Whilst in lockdown the juniors continued with the design process and on their return to school they have produced their practical work.

In Week 2 of next term we have our annual Art Soirée. It gives the VCE Unit 3 students an opportunity to share their creative ideas with fellow students and also for past pupils to share their words of wisdom with our current students.
