A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

Dear Parents and Carers,

Our Athletics Carnival held last week was an outstanding success. Congratulations to the Blue House for being the Marching Champions, the Red House for winning the War Cry Competition and to the Gold House for being the overall winners of the carnival.  I was impressed by the team spirit, sportsmanship and how enthusiastically the students cheered each other on throughout the day. It was a real community event with many parents and grandparents enjoying watching the students compete. Thank you to Mrs Bartholomew for her planning and to Clare Lee and her wonderful helpers for providing the canteen.

As the term draws to a close it is time to acknowledge and thank the people who make everything we do at school possible. Our students have had many opportunities to further their learning and also participate in meaningful religious, sporting and cultural activities.

Thank you to Fr Vince for his continual support of the school.

Thank you to our wonderful staff for their tireless dedication to provide the best possible     education for our students in a caring and respectful way.

Thank you to our office staff who help with the nitty gritty of running our school from         answering phone calls to paying the accounts! We couldn’t survive without your       efficiency.

Thank you to our students for trying your best and helping each other out both in class     and on the playground.

Thank you to our parents for supporting your children in their learning.

A special note of thanks to the parents who help in the canteen on a regular basis: Clare Lee, Jenny Hird, Kate Dillon, Nicola Balint and Lisa Azzopardi. The students and staff love ‘even week’ Fridays!

Don't forget our NAIDOC Week celebrations tomorrow from 9.00am-2.00pm. Parents are most welcome to join us any time during the day.

I wish all of our families a safe, relaxing and happy holiday. School resumes next term for the students on Tuesday 13th July.
