School Championships Netball

On Wednesday 17 July on a cold and rainy Winter’s day, Kilbreda was represented by five teams at the first round of the Victorian Netball Championships.

The Junior A Team played some great netball and won all games bar a draw to netball academy school, Rowville. They finished the day in 2nd place by percentage and are hopeful of a wildcard to the state finals later in the term. The Intermediate A and Seniors also played some exceptional netball with both teams only dropping one game each (Intermediates to Rowville and Seniors to Caulfield Grammar) for the day and dominating the rest of the competition. The Junior and Intermediate B Teams faced some tough opposition but came away with a number of fantastic wins!
