Performing Arts

Congratulations to the 160 performers involved in the ‘Winter Musicale’ at the end of Term 2.  There were fine performances by the Symphonic Band, Middle Orchestra, Junior Orchestra, Year 7 and 8 Choir, Senior Choir, small ensembles, soloists, VCE Dance students and the Kilbreda Dance Company. It was a showcase of, not only the diverse array of talent we have at Kilbreda, but a celebration of the hard work and effort put in throughout the semester by both students and teachers. Thank you to all involved, including our appreciative audience, for making this first Music Soirée such a resounding success.

Our next Music Soirée will be post Music Camp on Monday 9 September at 7.00pm in the Auditorium.

We offer many opportunities for girls to me involved in Performing Arts at Kilbreda and all are welcome to join, at any time.  Next week is ‘Performing Arts Week’ and we look forward to many more students taking part in the variety of activities on offer.

Mary Poppins - The Broadway Musical 

Our Senior School production, ‘Mary Poppins’ opens on Thursday August 15 and looks like being a spectacular show!  Tickets are selling fast, so don’t miss out!
