Around Our School

Crêpe-oohlicious

On Wednesday 26 May, Christophe and Lara (of Crêpe-oohlicious) visited our school again with their delicious crêpes.  Students ordered their crêpes in French, practising their language skills, and then enjoyed watching a traditional crêpe being made in front of their eyes!

Crêpe-oohlicious will be visiting again on Thursday 12 August (Senior Campus) and Tuesday 12 October (7-10 Campus).

French classes will be visiting during class time and crêpes will be available to all students at recess and lunchtime.

All crêpes are $5 each.

VCE MUSIC RECITAL

On Thursday 27 May, the VCE Music students were invited to play to a small audience to prepare and practise their keyboard skills on our school grand piano.  Local students were involved in this performance but this year we have three International students studying this subject; Elaine Gu (Year 12), Richard Li (Year 12) and Simon Liu (Year 12).  Their skill and dedication to this subject is outstanding.

Their performance was of a good standard for our Year 12 students.  It was much appreciated that Mrs Sally Bredin, their VCE teacher, Mr Peter Sharp and Mr Jack Parker also assisted by critiquing their performances so that they could have valuable feedback for their end of year performance.

Well done to all the students who performed on the night.
