Middle School Mini Fair

On Wednesday, the Middle School Leaders held a mini-fair for students in Years Six to Twelve. The funds raised will be going towards purchasing toys for less fortunate children in the Great Southern region. The leaders had fun wearing their dressing gowns to keep warm whilst running stalls for their peers. The mini fair was held over period six and lunch, giving the students plenty of time to enjoy the fun set out for them. Music set the vibe, as students came and bought many different products and played games. There were ice creams, despite the cold weather; sausages in a bun; chocolate milk (and other flavours); and a cake stall wrapped up all the food stalls. There was plenty of games to entertain the crowd while raising funds simultaneously. One specific stall was set up for students to vote for a teacher to wear a tutu for a day. Votes have been counted and the lucky teacher wearing a tutu is Mr Tompkin! The Year Eights will be happy to see their funny Head of Year wearing such a garment. Many other stalls kept this event exciting and fun for the students who attended. Profits are in the process of being counted. It was an all-round fun day to keep us kicking until the end of the term.
