John XXIII Rowing Club

Congratulations to all our Year 9 -12 girls who competed in the IGSSA Regatta 1 at Champion Lakes last weekend.  It was the first IGSSA Regatta held since 2019.  Our girls represented the College with pride and for many of them it was their first time racing for the school!

Well done to Lara Sivwright and Jemima Broderick who came 1st and 2nd in their respective Single Scull races.

History was also made over the weekend with John XXIII Rowing boating a senior eight for the first time in over seven years and boating two senior eights for the first time in the Rowing Club’s 29-year history.

Thank you to the rowers, coaches, and families for their ongoing commitment to club and each other.
