2022 Prep Interviews
Enrolment interviews will take place in Term 3 in July and August on a Monday-Thursday morning. Appointments are filling fast, so please ensure you have your child’s enrolment papers completed and handed into the school office to secure your interview.
Alternatively contact the school office on 5520 8333 to arrange an available time.
All 2022 Prep students must attend the interview with a parent and these interviews are compulsory.
Uniform Reminder
Over the past few weeks as the temperature has dropped, we have noticed that there are many students wearing incorrect jumpers to school. Students are to wear a plain navy-blue jumper or our school jacket, all of which can be purchased from the uniform shop. Students are also required to wear all black shoes, including laces. We thank all families for supporting the school in wearing the correct school uniform.
Street Science
A reminder that our annual Street Science Incursion will begin on the first Tuesday back next term. Street Science put on a very informative and interactive show for our students focusing on each year level’s science unit for the term. This is a great opportunity for students to build field knowledge at the beginning of their units of work. We look forward to seeing our students engaging in hands on activities on their return to Term 3.
Sport News
Last Friday our Netball and Soccer Interschool sport teams played their final games for the term. Our 6A soccer team completed an undefeated season, winning their grand final 1-0 and our 6B soccer team also went through an undefeated season winning 6-1. The netball side also had an undefeated season but played off for third place as they missed one game due to camp and another interrupted by a storm. However, they won convincingly 28-5.
Our Rugby League team completed their season on Monday night after winning last Friday and making their way through to the grand final. They played extremely well winning their game very convincingly 44-0.
A huge congratulations to all of our teams for playing the ‘Palmy’ way – showing sportsmanship each and every week! A massive thank you to our coaches, Mr Hill, Mrs Gray and Mrs Howe for giving up their lunch breaks and/or time before school to coach their teams! The students had great mentors and are very thankful for your time and effort.
