National Reconciliation Week

This week is National Reconciliation week.

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The school community display is up.  Please come for a look to read all of the amazing messages and colouring art.

Waste Free Wednesday Lunch

Children are encouraged to bring a waste free lunch on Wednesdays.  They can then enter themselves into a lucky dip each week which will be drawn at assembly.

Waste free means only packing items that can be composted or recycled and that won’t end up in the garbage bin.

That means, no plastic wrap, no foil, no zip lock bags and no packaged foods.

BYO Container

You can now pack your own container and utensils when ordering pasta, salad and nachos from the school canteen.  This will all help in reducing our rubbish at St Finbar’s.

This can be any container and utensils you have at home which could be used regularly for school orders.

Reusable Lunch bags can be ordered from the uniform shop.
