BEST WISHES TO OUR L.P. SOCCER TEAMS!

Wishing both our boys and girls Year 5&6 Soccer teams all the very best for next Wednesday at Caulfield Park, where they will participate in a round-robin 9-a-side half field soccer tournament against all other Dendy schools.   It was great to see so many boys trial this week, with some tough calls needing to be made in the selection process…

Mr Anderson and Miss Gourley are looking forward to coaching these teams next week along with the support from some soccer-savvy parents! Many thanks to those that have offered their time.

Games begin at 10am, with the Grand Final for both draws to be played at 1.45pm.

BEST WISHES TO BOTH TEAMS!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK -

BREAD & WRAP BAG COLLECTION

LET’S HELP LESSEN LANDFILL &

WIN SOME SPORTS EQUIPMENT!

#wonderrecycling

It’s now Week 3 of the Wonder Recycling Rewards for schools program and it’s been FANTASTIC to see so many of our students remembering to bring in their soft plastic bread bags, wrap bags and plastic bread tags!

To help keep our soft plastic bread bags out of landfill, WE WANT EVERYONE to keep collecting  ANY brand of soft plastic bread or wrap bags, as well as your plastic bread bag tags.

5 EASY STEPS:

  1. Keep collecting ANY brand of plastic bread or wrap bag & plastic bread tag
  2. Shake out the crumbs before you bring them in (do not rinse them)
  3. Bring them in & place in the Wonder Recycling Rewards Collection boxes near the Office window in the Jnr corridor and the ground floor entrance to the Senior stairs.
  4. Ask ALL family, friends, neighbours to collect them for you too
  5. Final day for collecting is Friday 25th June (last day of Term 2).

KEEP UP THE GREAT COLLECTING EVERYONE!
