Independent Cooking Challenge

Students in 7A were recently given the opportunity to utilise their culinary talents when their independent cooking skills were put to the test in the BSC kitchen. All students were required to create a warm chicken salad with as little assistance as possible.

 

 

The class were provided with a recipe and given directions relating to their task, from there students needed to rely on their initiative and do their best to create a delicious and appealing dish.

 

 

Students were graded on their ability to work independently, follow the recipe and their presentation. Judging by the mouth watering smells emanating from the kitchen and the appetising dishes on display, I would say the class did an outstanding job and students should be extremely proud of their efforts!
