Science Week 

Hi everyone!

We’d just like to tell you more about the STEAM newsletter that the STEAM team has been creating and sending out for the whole school to view fortnightly. It was started by the STEAM leaders one and a half years ago and focuses on the STEAM aspect of our lives and the school community. The newsletter features STEAM-related news, upcoming events to participate in, STEAM-related trivia and other fun activities. 

The newsletter is almost entirely student-run so please contribute if you find any STEAM news or events you would like the MGSC community to know about.

Dressed for Science

As part of Science Week there was a science hero themed dress up day. Diana Gilbert, Science Domain Leader & STEAM Learning Specialist, had no problem finding an inspiring female scientist to emulate. The NASA souvenirs are from Space Camp 2019 in honour of Katherine Johnson.
