We Need Your Help!

Sustainable Prop and Costume Making...

Our wonderful and dedicated Years Three to Six children have begun to investigate, design and make prop and costume pieces. To assist in their efforts we kindly ask that the Miners Rest Community please help us to recycle the following products so that we can transform them in to something magical! 

We will need:

Newspapers

Margarine Containers (please refer to "Fez" photo)

2L Soft Drink Bottles

Any small round plastic lids (soft drink, milk etc.)

Both large and small cardboard rolls (we are unable to accept toilet rolls)

Cardboard boxes that children would be able to cut, such as cereal boxes. 

We ask that all donations please be delivered by the children only to the music room. 

80's Deck Chairs!

We are also looking for two deck chairs to use as props - please contact the office on 03 5334 6328 if you would like to lend or donate these items to the school!

Aladdin Jr. Production T-Shirts

We are excited to announce that we will be gathering student orders from the beginning of Term Three for the Aladdin Jr. Production t-shirts. This top is a memorable token of the students achievements and contributions to this production. 

Each t-shirt will be $25 each. Please note this is not a fundraising initiative for the school. 

The tops are a dry fit navy fabric that compliments the Miners Rest Primary School uniform. Please refer to the photo of the shirt colour and design. They will be available in a range of sizes including both student and adult sizes, to ensure all children have a comfortable fit. Please note that we are unable to exchange or refund for incorrect sizes or upon cancellation of the production. We are in unique times and although we are working positively towards October, we are mindful and responsible for implementing any directives we receive from the Department of Education.
