Performing Arts Puppet Plays! 

The children and Mrs. Polson are so excited to begin recording our puppet plays of "The Gingerbread Man" and "Little Red Riding Hood" from Week Three onward!

The children have been working so well to use different rehearsal and performance techniques to make their play extra special. We will be creating a video for each performance group from all five Years One and Two classes, which will be edited and posted on SeeSaw in the weeks to come. 

Also, coming soon to SeeSaw, a practice video of the both The Gingerbread Man and Little Red Riding Hood songs that we will be singing at the end of our performances! Please use the video to support your practice at home if you would like to, however this is not a compulsory activity.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank families, classroom and ES staff for your support in assisting the children to learn their lines from home and integrate their practice into independent reading tasks. Thank you for the time you have dedicated to these activities and for seeing the value in how our Performing Arts learning enhances the children's understanding of the Literacy Curriculum.
