Cocurricular Activities

We love seeing our Cocurricular groups embracing opportunities and helping make a positive difference in our world.

In partnership with Propeller Industries, the College's Sustainability Club has been the driving force behind a new initiative. Working with social enterprise, Microplastix, they are creating a sand-sifting device which will remove microplastics from beach sand. 

Microplastics are small fragments of plastic which contribute heavily to plastic pollution and ocean pollution. 

To create the device, the Sustainability Club is asking the community for donations of Type 2 plastic. Watch the video below to see how you can help support this sustainable initiative.
