Mr Butts' Announcements

Principal

A positive start!

Well done to everyone in the St Mary's community on the positive start to the second round of remote learning.  Students are working hard to do the best they can, teachers are committed to presenting an engaging curriculum and the parents are doing brilliantly assisting their children at home with the work.

Onsite Supervision

Please note that all parents are required to complete an online form when applying for onsite supervision at school each week.  This form will be issued each Wednesday via email and school app notifications.

Temperature Checks

All onsite students are now required to undertake a temperature check each morning at school.  Any child recording a temperature of 37.5 or above will be required to be picked up immediately and seek medical attention.

Message from Mons Peter

Our Principal, Anthony Butts, is currently undertaking a Summative Appraisal. This process incorporates a review of his leadership and identifies his achievements and areas for growth. A nominated panel of three, chaired by Jim Rolfe, will oversee the process. The appraisal will be conducted in appropriate consultation with the staff and parent community.

Gr 3/4 Camps

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic the Gr 3/4 camps have been cancelled.  All costs will be removed from school fees.

Collingwood Indigenous Jumper

This year's Collingwood Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous round jumper has been designed by Xavier Morgan's (Gr 6) dad Ross Morgan and his pop Ross snr. Ross is responsible for painting the long neck turtle in the library waterhole. Congratulations to the Morgan family on this wonderful achievement! Click here for the story behind the design.

Let Your Light Shine!

Some of you may have noticed the new Let Your Light Shine at the front of the school is now lit up at night.  I'm sure you will all agree it looks spectacular!
