School Restrictions Lifted

As announced by the State Government this week, restrictions that have been on Schools over the last term are slowly being lifted.

We are pleased to announce that as of the start of Term 3:

1. Volunteers are welcome back into our School Community Please ensure you have read the Volunteer letter emailed recently and completed the short survey. Letter with Survey Link here if you have not already completed it.

2. Parents are welcome back onto School Grounds

It is imperative that all physical distancing and hygiene rules are adhered to. Please respect the 1.5m distance rule between yourself and others and ensure that your hands are clean. Hand sanitiser will be available in our Front Office as well as in the primary breezeway. Please make use of this as you arrive on school grounds.

Needing Help?

We all know that at times life gets tough and throws at us added challenges. Please know that help is available in a number of ways.

Emergency Food Hampers - these are provided free of charge, and are available through the 'Pantry Club' right here in Strathalbyn.

Ongoing Affordable Groceries - ongoing support with groceries at very little cost is also available through the Pantry Club on a weekly basis.

Further information can be obtained via this brochure above.

Meals Cooked - If you, or someone you know in our School Community would be encouraged by a meal being prepared for them during a difficult time or through poor health, please let us know by sending a Confidential email to Kiowa, our School Nurse. She can be reached at KiowaLogan@tyndale.sa.edu.au

If you would like to join our Tyndale response team who would be happy to be called upon to prepare a meal on occasion, please also speak to Kiowa either through the School Office or by the above email.

Entertainment Books

With the Covid-19 restrictions lifting and the opening up of Entertainment venues, Restaurants and Cafes, along with the many other retail places on offer, now is a great time to order the 2020/2021 Entertainment Book and save $$'s when heading out and about over the weekend and School holidays.

The hard-copy Entertainment Book is no longer produced. They are now offering all memberships as Digital memberships.

You can click on this link https://www.entertainment.com.au/orderbooks/9x27109 to head to the Entertainment Book Fundraising Page and purchase your copy, or one as a gift.

Head lice

We have had a few outbreaks of head lice in our school over the course of the last few weeks. Can I ask that over the weekend, you take a few minutes to check, and treat your child's hair if required, to be sure our last 2 weeks of the term are uninterrupted by head lice outbreaks.
