FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Term 2

As we arrive to the end of a term like we’ve never known, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire school community for your understanding and support.

Many positives have come from the time spent learning remotely and when everything settles down, as a staff, we will be examining some of the opportunities that have arisen and building on them to make the learning experience the best it can be for our students.

Pathways/Subject Selection 2021

It is that time of year again when we have to begin the process of selecting subjects for next year.

A VCE/Middle School Information Evening is usually held at the beginning of Term 3, however, due to the COVID-19 restrictions we will not be holding that event. In its place will be a series of online information sessions from the Head of Middle and Senior School and the Heads of Learning Areas.

There will also be individual interviews held for every Year 8, 9 and 10 student to provide an opportunity for students and parents to gather information regarding subjects, courses and future pathways.

A week has been dedicated to each current year level in Term 3:

Week 2 - Current Year 10 students

Week 3 - Current Year 9 students

Week 4 - Current Year 8 students

Virtual Assembly  - Year 7

Congratulations to Mr Neuman and the following Year 7 student leaders for the great virtual assembly that was beamed into classrooms today:

  • Callie Rigg
  • Taylah Mae Gundry
  • Slater Brewer
  • Sophie Haydon
  • Mackenzie Reid
  • Taylah Cooper
  • Sophie Carswell
  • Seth Both
  • Lachlan Haynes

We are currently avoiding big group gatherings, however, this did not stop the students from holding an assembly that included speeches and musical performances. Well done to everyone involved!

Have a wonderful holiday, stay safe, see you in Term 3!
