Dobsons School Uniform Shop Trading Hours for Term 2 2020

 

The uniform shop is returning to normal operating hours.

 

  • Mondays: 8:30 am - 11:30 am (except Public Holidays and Pupil Free days)
  • Wednesdays: 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Please note the following two additional days:

  • Saturday 6 June: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Tuesday 9 June: 8:30 am - 11:30 am (in lieu of Queen's Birthday Public Holiday)

Please note, however, that this may change depending upon circumstances and instructions from the Government.

 

We will continue to update you, where necessary, with any changes to opening hours as soon as we are informed.

 

Dobsons kindly thanks parents and carers for their  patience whilst social distancing is observed.  Set limits will be closely adhered to, and only one customer will be allowed in the store at any given time.

 

 

School Bus Services - School Student Travel Arrangements

 

Please note the following updated advice on school bus travel for the rest of Term 2:

 

All school bus networks are to resume full operations from Tuesday 26 May.

 

Physical distancing rules do not apply on school bus services for students, consistent with the advice of the Department of Health and Human Services.

 

School bus travel for mainstream schools

Stage 1: From 26 May 2020, students in Prep, grades 1 and 2, and years 11 and 12 will return to school.

  • All currently suspended bus services will be reinstated from 26 May, and no school bus services are to be suspended from this date.
  • Buses are to resume normal timetable arrangements.
  • Bus usage is expected to increase to about 30 to 40 per cent of usual usage during Stage 1.
  • The seats behind the driver must remain vacant and sectioned as ‘do not use’.
  • Due to the nature of bus timetables, service connections and interchange requirements, buses may not always be able to observe staggered drop-off times.
  • All school bus operators have been and will continue to observe additional cleaning and sanitisation processes, including wiping down all tactile surfaces with sanitised wipes or solution after each run.
  • Bus operators are encouraged to provide hand sanitiser for students to use when travelling on the bus.

Stage 2: From 9 June 2020 all students will return to school.

  • School bus networks will have commenced operating at full capacity from 26 May.
  • Bus usage is expected to be 80 to 90 per cent for the remainder of Term 2.
  • The seats behind the driver will remain vacant and sectioned as ‘do not use’.
  • Due to the nature of bus timetables, service connections and interchange requirements, buses may not always be able to observe staggered drop-off times.
  • All school bus operators have been and will continue to observe additional cleaning and sanitisation processes, including wiping down all tactile surfaces with sanitised wipes or solution after each run.
  • Bus operators are encouraged to provide hand sanitiser for students to access when travelling on the bus.
