VCAL - Personal Development

Feel like spreading the love? Send an Indi-Hug!

Lachie and Neo (Year 12 ) have created the above logo for their Senior VCAL Personal Development project, to get people to stay in touch with those around them over text or calls.

Indi-Hug is to represent that not everyone knows what someone might be going through in their daily lives during this pandemic.

Since physically hugging one another is not the best option at the moment, by sending text or calls to friends and family members, it can give them the sense of acknowledgement and let them know that they are not forgotten or alone. By helping to spread this logo and it's meaning, it can make a significant change big or small to someone.

So help spread this logo and it's meaning to the world by sharing this logo to everyone around you with the words "Feel like spreading the love? Send an Indi-hug!" and make a change in people's lives.  Spread the love, spread the hugs.

Howzitgoin?

Our names are Alex and Ben and we are undertaking a Personal Development project to make isolation better for those who are struggling during this time.  Our project involves individuals checking in with their friends and colleagues.

We would appreciate it if you would take a few minutes out of your day and start a conversation with 3 or more of your friends by asking, "How they are coping with the isolation?".

It would be great if at the end of your conversation you would ask them to “carry it on” by checking in on three friends of their own, to help spread the idea.

We would also appreciate it if you could share this with as many people as possible, to help spread the message.

Due to the virus, many people have been struggling both mentally and emotionally due to the drastic change in lifestyle and we believe that this could help.

Red Cross Appeal

As part of Senior VCAL Personal Development we (Daniel Fritsch and Kieran Gibson) have set a task to help those in need during this time. We have chosen to do is a fundraiser for the Red Cross Foundation.

Red Cross have been supplying those in lockdown due to COVID-19 with essential supplies and helping hospitals by donating funds where needed.

Many of the people who are in lock down are missing out on essential things such as exercise, food comforts and friends which affects their health and wellbeing.

To show our support for those going through this, we are giving up coffee and junk-food for 14 days, as this a challenge for us too.

Please support us by donating below:
