YEAR 10

Year 10 students studying a VCE SUBJECT

Those students who are in a ‘stand alone’ Year 10 VCE class (meaning there are only Year 10 students in the class), remote learning will continue until JUNE 9.

For those who are in a mixed VCE class (Year 10 and 11 students), where practicable, Year 10 students can attend the VCE class on site.

If it is not possible to find transport, the teachers will provide work on Compass until June 9 when all students return.

For Year 10s who complete two mixed VCE classes, if you decide to attend those classes at school, we will provide you with a space on site to complete your remote classes throughout the day, in between VCE classes.

VET STUDENTS

An email was sent to students on Friday 15 May from Mr Kogelman:

With the announcement from the Department of Education on the return to face-to-face teaching there may be some changes to the way that your VET course is delivered. Some courses will remain online for the duration of this term, while others will return to face-to-face teaching.

More information about your course will be provided next week from your VET provider.

If you haven’t yet heard from the VET provider, please call them to clarify.

Those VET courses that take place at Lilydale High School (Animal Studies and VET Acting) will remain as remote classes at this stage. Mr Whitby and Ms Louis will advise you regarding any changes to this arrangement.
