Explaining VCE Assessments Webinar

Year 12 students

The North Eastern Region of DET have been facilitating student forums and as a direct result of feedback from Year 12 students has organised a webinar to explain VCE Assessments.  It is on Wednesday 16th September 3.30pm - 4.30pm.  It will be repeated on Thursday 17th September 4pm - 5pm.

This is a very worthwhile webinar and all Year 12 students are encouraged to attend.

 

Agenda:

  1. The VCE Study Score- What is it and how is it calculated?
  2. Statement of Results- What it looks like and what it means
  3. Assessment Moderation - How do exam results impact on your SACS/SATS results
  4. The General Achievement Test (GAT)- what is it and what it is used for?
  5. Indicative Grades and Derived Exam Scores
