Instrumental Tuition at OLA

This year, all instrumental music tuition at OLA is provided by Keyed Up Music. Individual and small-group lessons are available. All tutors are well qualified, and have current Working With Children certification. Lessons commence from 11 am, so that students do not miss core learning time in class.  Keyed Up Music will aim to schedule rotating lessons, so that the students do not miss out on the same class time each week. However, due to the different recess and lunch times, and class teacher requests, this is not an easy task, so there will be some experimentation before the best possible timetables can be scheduled.  We currently have 37 students taking piano/keyboard lessons, 4 taking violin tuition, and 5 taking drum lessons. There are a small number of students interested in guitar, flute and/or clarinet, but this cannot commence until we have a minimum number of students enrolled.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Keyed Up Music for their donation to the Music Room at the end of 2018. We received 3 Casio keyboards and a Remo ukulele. These instruments are a marvelous asset to our music program, and our students will enjoy using them
