Student achievements

Congratulations to the following students:

Nandhini Ramanathan (Year 9), who won the secondary category Nagle Prize 2020 of the Nagle Education Alliance of Australia (NEAA) competition. Nandhini's design will be used to create a pull-up banner that will be used for NEAA events in the future. Congratulations Nandhini, what a beautiful piece of artwork!

Luzie Gillard (Year 11), who has been selected to attend the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) early in 2021. The NYSF program is a 10-day residential program designed to give Year 12 students a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to encourage continued studies in these fields.  At the NYSF Year 12 program in January each year, participants will visit science and technology-related laboratories and facilities, complete onsite tours, listen to lectures, take part in workshops and social events, and participate in group activities that improve communication and presentation skills. Well done Luzie on this exceptional achievement.

Chloe Kitto, Amelia McMahon (Year 10), Emma Johnson, Lilian Ndimanyi, Shakira Bone (Year 11) and Pia Rhodes (Year 12) who won the 2020 State College Championships Women's Division 1 basketball grand final!
