CALLING ALL LOCKDOWN RECIPES!
We are exploring the idea of creating a Malvern Primary Cookbook with favourite family recipes - and especially those standouts from the home-cooking we’ve enjoyed during endless lockdowns.
Please send in your best recipes and we’ll put together a book for our community to remember and celebrate the silver linings of lockdown life.
We’d also love illustrations from the children, and their reflections / comments about cooking or lockdown in general.
- Please send reliable recipes you’ve tried and tested
- We’d love to see a variety of cuisines
- Recipes suitable for food allergies also needed
- If you like, suggest funny lockdown names for your recipes (e.g. corona cakes)
- Include a note about where the recipe is from / why it is a family favourite / any lockdown anecdote or funny story
- Send in the children’s illustrations and reflections about the yummy food they enjoyed making during lockdown, or generally about lockdown life
- If possible send a few photos of your creation and we’ll select the best ones (I-phone ‘insta-worthy’ is perfect!)
- Include your name
- Edits will be made where necessary for formatting purposes
- All efforts will be made to include everyone’s submissions - get in quick, numbers will be limited!
Send to cookbook.mps@gmail.com – email / Word document please. By 9 October.
