On the 16th May, Year 12 students took time from their studies to attend a Tertiary Information Session at Latrobe University.
This event draws together representatives from universities and TAFEs across Victoria to support students as they finalise their plans for tertiary study.
Students were informed by a panel of tertiary representatives and current tertiary students about the process of applying for tertiary study. They also were given some insight into student life.
Following the presentation, students had the opportunity to speak with representatives of individual institutions and collect relevant course information in a supermarket style session.
Overall, the students enjoyed visiting a university campus, learned about the many options available when transitioning from high school life to tertiary study and felt that the information about VTAC was useful and beneficial to them.

The Tertiary Information Session we attended at Latrobe University gave great explanations on the process of applying to university, TAFE and ITC courses. After talking to representatives from a variety of tertiary campuses I feel more confident in making a decision in reference to my studies after high school.
