Brunswick Secondary College's academic curriculum is supported by a staged and cohesive social and emotional curriculum.

COGS (Community Growth Opportunity Success) classes are timetabled once each fortnight for students of all year levels. These classes provide a space for the very important social and emotional learning that students need in order to excel.

COGS sessions  also strengthen year level identity and relationships. Sessions are based on our school values and specifically target the needs of students at different stages of adolescence. Students are supported and mentored  in developing positive relationships and positive wellbeing as part of the COGS program.

Our spirited Year 7 cohort took on their wellbeing activities with gusto last week.  Guided and supported by our team of dedicated Year 10 Peer Support Leaders, they tackled a number of tasks aimed at building teamwork and responsibility skills as well as encouraging creative, positive thinking.

The resulting outcomes featured many smiles and lots of laughter - a great time had by all as is evident in our photographs!
