This year Brunswick Secondary College ramped up our celebration of IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and and Transphobia).

Staff and students from our school joined forces with others from Coburg High School, Pascoe Vale Girls High School, Sydney Road Community School, Merri Health and Moreland City Council to stand out against discrimination. It's really important to us that our school is a safe and inclusive space, and so we headed up to Coburg City Oval to participate in the Rainbow Procession.

Students and teachers alike felt that the event was a positive, inclusive and fun way to support LGBTQIA+ students in our schools. Plus, we got to keep our umbrellas - so we have a visible presence and identification of support in the school yard and the street when it rains! Watch the video below to see the positive messages created.
