From the Assistant Principal

Joy Joy Joy

A short one from me as I'm not terribly good at good-byes. I have had such an adventure at Arlington and I have been made to feel so welcome. Seven years have flown by and 20 years in education sees me, for the first time in a LONG time, living my days next year without thinking about school terms! It's quite an odd thought to organise my life in any other way.

It's been said that if you ever forget what the meaning of life is, spend time with a 3 year old! It probably should be 'spend time with an Arlington child'. Each day there is such awe and wonderment through the eyes of the children here and I have been so lucky to be invited to share that. It has been a privilege to spend my days with them.

Next year will be a special one here at Arlington. There are so many exciting projects and a group of new families in the Kinder and 5s who start their education with us. This is such a special place and I look forward to checking in as I have a lovely glass of red sitting on the quayside of Nyhavn.

So it's not a good-bye but a see you soon...

We look forward to seeing you all  on Friday as we farewell our 11s. They will be performing their school play A Pixelated Life at 2pm in the Kevin Borland Hall.
