Kinder Orientation

We welcomed the Kindy Start students to our school last week for their first full day of the program. Our literacy session was focused around the story of the Gingerbread Man and was complimented by a visit to the kitchen where we baked and decorated gingerbread men. We also explored numbers and counting through song and even though some little ducks disappeared for a while they came back to the quack, quack, quack, quack of the mother duck in the end.

The Kindy Start students met and spent some time with their Year 5 buddies who really enjoyed helping with our lunch time and recess routines.

This Friday sees the end of our Kindy Start Program with another full day at school. Parents don't forget our afternoon tea with the P & C stall at 1:30pm followed by our Assembly in the hall at 2:00pm, where the Kindy Start students will be presented with their Kindy Start certificates.
