Early Learning Centre

Munch & Move

This term the ELC has had a focus on Healthy Foods and exercise. We have been eating a rainbow and exploring new  fruits and vegetables. On Thursday we have been making soup from vegetables and so far we have made root vegetable soup, potato and leek and, this week, pumpkin soup. It has been great to taste different flavours. We have also been learning some new dance moves and outside games . We love cricket the best.

Healthy living is an important concept embedded through our play based learning program. Developing good food habits in early childhood encourages a positive attitude towards enjoying a healthy diet and lifestyle later in life.

Able to Volunteer?

If you have some spare time in your week and you'd love the opportunity to work with our children in the Early Learning Centre, volunteering your time to assist the teaching staff would be most welcome.  The program is full and the learning is engaging but the clean up can be very time consuming so any help in this area is very much appreciated. Please see Robbie or Bev if you can help.
