Administration Matters

We've made it past the half way mark of Term 3 - so hard to believe!  Book Week celebrations for both Primary & Secondary were a huge success with a page of photos in the Newsletter for you to enjoy.

Camps are well under way for the primary classes, with more to come this term. Excursions for classes across the whole school are giving students a broader perspective on life and learning outside of the classroom and a special treat this week was hearing from the 27 students from the 3 Tyndale Schools who returned from their life-changing mission trip to Kenya back in July.  It's a pleasure to hear their stories and join them in celebrating the life lessons they've learnt and their new sense of appreciation for all they, and we, have here in Australia.

Photo Consent Form

Thanks to the many families who have returned the student photo consent form so quickly, sent home with every student in Reception to Year 12 this week. I really appreciate your support in this area as we ensure all consents are in place for the varied uses of images.

Please keep these forms coming in before the end of this term. Any questions regarding these consents, please do not hesitate to be in touch with me for further details.

Father's Day Breakfast

A great morning was had today with over 60 dads and grandpas joining us along with their children and grandchildren for a special Father's Day breakfast.  Our sincere thanks to the wonderful staff that prepared and served breakfast from the early hours of the morning. We have a wonderful community here at Tyndale and this is just one way we see it expressed.

Father's Day Gift Stall

Thanks so much for your support of the Father's Day gift stall, also run this morning giving our Primary students the opportunity to buy dad a gift, and at the same time, raise some funds to support our local Strathalbyn Neighbourhood's 'Men's Shed' group. Huge thanks to our Volunteers Sarah, Tamra & Stacey who pulled this together on our behalf.

Dentist Visit

With the large number of bookings we had during the Dental Team visit, some children's follow up treatment wasn't able to be completed and therefore we have made arrangements for them to return on the 16 September to 20 September 2019.  If you have any questions about the dental service or treatment provided, please contact the Growing up Smiling (GuS) Administration team on 7226 1709.
