SAPSASA AFL

Due to being postponed in Term 2 due to weather Year 5, 6 and 7 students finally got a chance to showcase their skills on the footy field. The boys battled hard all day showing great courage and determination in all their games. It was great to see some of the Year 5 students embrace the challenge of competing against students much older than themselves and competing beyond their years.

A huge thank you to our helpers for the day - Tarsh Littlejohn, Tracy Falzon, John Newell and Beck Holt who helped out with scoring and goal umpiring.

SACSA Football Carnival

On Tuesday 20 August, 12 boys from Year 4 & 5 were selected to represent the School in a 9-a-side football carnival. After an early start and a long drive out to Kings Baptist School, the team was ready for a full day of competition.

Placed in Division Two this year, we played 5 games plus a final. The boys showed excellent teamwork and determination throughout the day to win 2 games, draw in one and lose two in the round robin stage. This placed us in the final to see if we finished 3rd or 4th out of the 6 teams. Although the team fought hard, we couldn't get the job done in the final game.  However, we still finished a very respectful 4th place in our division.

Congratulations to all the players for their efforts on the day. Also, thank you to the volunteers and supporters who attended.
