Parent & Friends

Hi everyone,

Our next P&F Meeting is on Monday 25th March after assembly, in the SAKG kitchen. Everyone is welcome. Come along and help us wrap up the hampers and join us for a cuppa and a chat!

Election Market – A call out for Green thumbs

We are still seeking parents and grandparents to help us grow plants for our plant stall at the Election Market. It is a great way to get involved and help the school. If you can help by growing some plants, seedlings, cuttings for our stall, please either sign up at the office or send your details to Suzi at:

michael_suzi@optusnet.com.au .

Hot Cross Bunraiser

Monty Primary is teaming up with Baker’s Delight Greensborough for our annual 'Easter Hot Cross Bunraiser'. For every 6 pack of hot cross buns ordered, the school will receive $2. You can enjoy your delicious hot cross buns knowing you’re also helping our wonderful school!

Packets are $7.50 each - you can choose from traditional, choc chip, apple & cinnamon, mocha or fruitless, which should cater to the tastes of every family member! Orders can be placed by returning the attached form, with payment, to the school office.

Orders need to be placed by 10am on Monday 25 March 2019. Hot Cross Buns will be sent home with your child on Wednesday 3rd April.

Easter Raffle

Thank you to everyone for their generous donations of chocolate and Easter goodies. Hampers will be made up next week and tickets will go on sale on Monday 25th March (see upcoming Compass push for details). The raffle will be drawn after the Easter Parade, on the last day of term (Friday 5th April).

Mothers Day Breakfast

Save the date – Friday 10th May

Early in Term 2 (Friday 10th May), we will have a Mothers Day Breakfast and will also run our Mothers Day stall during the day. More information will be sent home at the beginning of Term 2, but for the moment, please hold the date and time (7:30am – 9:00 am), so you can join your child for a delicious breakfast. Grandparents are also welcome!

Seeking Donations

Please drop to the school office ASAP:

  • Black plastic pots, small or medium, for growing plants.
  • Parents/grandparents/green thumbs to grow plants for plant stall.
  • Small clean glass jars and lids for preserving with labels removed.
