Principals' Message

A message from Alison and Greg,

Dear Parents & Carers,

Welcome back to Term 2. It is certainly going to be unlike any other term we have experienced in the past. As always, the health, safety and well being of our staff and students is our highest priority. We understand for many of us, the uncertainty and worry around COVID-19 has been very stressful.  In line with the guidelines announced by the NSW Premier our school is only open to children of essential front line workers for the first two weeks and following that, schools will begin a staggered return from 11th May (Term 2 Week 3). 

We are currently collaborating with the Catholic Schools Office and our local Primary Schools to design what this will look like at St Edward's. Once a decision has been reached, the plan will be communicated to our parent body.  At St Edward's School it is very important that we continue to provide a safe working environment for the staff and students. It is vital that you keep your children home if they are unwell or if anyone in your household is unwell.

This week our students have engaged with an eSafety task. We were very happy to receive so many eSafety Houses. Please visit our "Focus on Learning" page to check these out.
