Parents & Friends (PFA)

Welcome!

Welcome to 2020 to all our families, especially those new to the school.

The PFA is looking forward to a big year embracing the school community and enjoying the opportunities to involve all the families in both fundraising and social activities.

We had a wonderful turnout at the first PFA meeting last night and we’re looking forward to a big turnout at our welcome picnic next Friday night at the school (Friday 14th February). For those new to the school, this is a relaxed family event with a BBQ and drinks available for you to purchase.

In the coming week we will be sending home both a digital and hard copy of the PFA calendar for the entire year. This maps out all the important fundraising and social events for 2020 so everyone can lock away the dates now.   We’ll also be sending home a fridge magnet with the key dates on it so its never far from your mind. Those who attended the PFA events last year will attest to the relaxed and enjoyable time that was had by all and we hope to build on that in 2020.

Some key dates to ensure you’ve got locked away while you eagerly await the arrival of the calendar are:

• Picnic on the Green: Friday 14th Feb
• Working Bee #1: Sunday 15th March
• Dad’s Day Out #1: Saturday 21st March
• Ladies Lunch: Saturday 28th March

Finally, we’re working through locking in our class liaisons and still have a few spots to fill.

ICY POLES

Icy poles are for sale this term on Wednesday lunchtime only (they will return in Term Four).

They remain at 50 cents each with one to be sold per child.  Don't forget to sent you coins to school on Wednesdays if your child would like a sweet treat.
