EXTEND

What’s Been Happening?

Welcome to Term 4!

And be ready for loads of fun!

Here’s a snapshot of what to expect:

Term project: Knitting for Nature. We adopted a penguin, Waddles, from Phillip Island and we will knit little jumpers to help with their rehabilitation - our target is to knit 10 little jumpers.

Mascot Challenge: In week 4 we will embark on a 4-week challenge in collaboration with Cricket Victoria to learn basic cricket skills. Fit Kids Boot Camp: At Extend we are passionate about keeping healthy and fit. Our extension program this term focus on fitness with a “boot camp” every Wednesday afternoon. See you there!

Join us in our two recycling initiatives: Help collect plastic bottle caps for Envision Hands to turn it into prosthetic hands for kids. Help collect bread tags for Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs. And then there is the real Extend Challenge to have as much fun as possible! So far we were pretty successful - we had a closer look at our solar system and made some  starry slime!
