Dear Kingswood Community,

The Preps have been learning about the elements through a piece of art about their own family. 

We looked at different types of lines such as zig-zag, straight, wavey, loopy etc. Coloured dye was used to enhance the line patterns. We then looked carefully at a range of shapes to decide which ones best represented the different parts of each family member. Those students that have pets used some texture to create their dogs and cats. 

You will notice that some students even tried to put some expression and movement into their pictures which is amazing! 

Well done Preps on your introduction to a whole lot of art elements.
