Australian Junior Track and Field Champion!

Thrilled to share on Saturday 15 April, our Year 11 student Marcus LaFontaine-Pollard attended the Australian Junior Track and Field Championships in Brisbane. 

He competed in Long Jump, 200 meters and the 4x400m relay.

Marcus came 1st in the Long Jump jumping 6.90m. He also came 4th in the 200m running 21.98 seconds. Marcus also represented Victoria in the 4x400m relay where they came 1st.

We are extremely proud of his efforts, congratulations Marcus!

State Swimming

Congratulations to our 14 students who represented Frankston High School at the State Swimming Championships on Friday 28 April. Thank you to Ms Kylie Grech, Mrs Jodie Burton and Ms Kate Burgess for their leadership and support of our students. A fantastic day in the pool. Well done to our medallists:

• 15 Girls Freestyle Relay 1st place
• 15/16 Girls Medley Relay team 3rd place  
• Alyssa Meddings (Year 8)  1st place in 50m Freestyle and 3rd place in 50m Butterfly.

Well done to the whole team for making it to the State Championships. An amazing effort!!
