Term 1 Casual Dress Day 2023

The Term 1 Casual Dress day supported Angel Flights Australia.

This charity coordinates non-emergency flights to assist country people to access specialist medical treatment that would otherwise be unavailable to them. All flights are free and may involve travel to medical facilities anywhere in Australia.

We raised $1616.80 through gold coin donations and our 7-10 Campus bake sale was also a huge success bringing in a total of $349.50!

The breakdown was as follows:

Junior School - $592.80

Middle School - $566.00

Senior School - $458.00

Congratulations to the following classes who raised the most: 7B, 7E, 8A and 8D.

Japanese Language Assistant Update

At the end of Term 1 we farewelled our assistant Miss Mirei Suuki. Mirei san has worked at Frankston High School for the past year. She has made a wonderful contribution to the Japanese learning for all our VCE students and we will miss her. We wish her all the best for her return to Japan.

This term we welcome Kiyohiro (Hiro) Watanabe from Chiba Prefecture, just near Disneyland! Hiro san has studied economics and Japanese language teaching. He has also worked with the Rwandan Olympic cycling team when they came to Tokyo as a cultural ambassador. Welcome Hiro san!
