2023 sees the return of the Mother’s Day Stall! This will occur in Week 3 from Tuesday 9th May to Wednesday 10th May. Your child’s teacher will be in contact with you for the exact session a class has been allocated. What's happening in Grade 3&4

In Cafe students from Grade 4 have been finding the "Main Idea"  when reading some books about ANZAC day, below are some pictures.

A big focus for the Grade 3's in week 1 was ANZAC day, what it represents and why we stop to remember and acknowledge those who have served or serve in our armed forces. Below are some silhouettes the students made representing the dawn service.

This fortnight, students in Grade 3 have been getting stuck into the new Inquiry topic for the term - 'The Lucky Country'. Students have been learning about the difference between countries and continents, and have started learning about the history of the Indigenous Communities that live in Australia.

Last week, students loved using an atlas to identify different countries in South America and Africa. Here are some students from 3KY completing the task.
