Optus Digital Thumbprint

Connect

This week our Year 8 and 9 students took part in the Optus Digital Thumbprint program as part of their Connect sessions.

The Year 8 ‘Digital Discernment’ session focused on differentiating between real and fake or bad information online and included discussions around why people create fake information and the impacts it can have on people and groups.

The Year 9s were presented with a session called Digital Balance, looking at the effects of devices and technology on their wellbeing and creating healthier habits when using devices.
