Before and After School Care Update

On behalf of the school council, I am writing to provide you with a further update on the Out of School Hours Care. 

As Rachel has communicated previously, the current provider of OSHC at our school, Big Childcare, are out of contract, and a tender process for a new provider has commenced. The Expression of Interest period closes today (Friday, 31 March), after which we are aiming to have a speedy process to get to a decision. A small selection committee comprising of School Council, School Leadership and Parent representation will shortlist and receive presentations from providers. We aim to have a decision made by start of Term 2, 2023. 

Along with ensuring a new provider can meet child safety requirements, we are looking for a provider that is committed to the highest quality experience for our children, consistency in delivery and communications, that they value and are willing to become part of our school community and can reflect our school values.

Transition to a new provider may take some time, and we as a School Council commit to keeping the parent community informed as this process progresses.
