Canteen volunteers needed

In order to support the operation of the canteen, we are asking for volunteers to give 2-3 hours help on a Wednesday or Friday between 8:30am and 2:00pm. We understand how busy everyone is, but the commitment of time could be as little as 2 hours, once a term. There is also an opportunity for an earlier session from 7:30 am if you could make time before work.

If you would like to sign up for a volunteer session for Term 2 - email Jen jlorrimar@hotmail.com, ask Bev in the canteen to put your name on the roster, or speak to Jen (Y4/Y6), Gil (Y6), Sherry (Y3/Y5), or Flick (Y6).

Thank you for supporting your school canteen,

The White Gum Valley Primary School Canteen Committee

Family Movie Night

The recent movie night was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who attended to support the P&C. We are also incredibly grateful for the generosity of Louise Pope from Whitehouse Property who donated the set up and movie, making this beautiful evening under the stars possible.

The food provided for the evening was absolutely delicious and the result of some incredibly hard work from our Yr 6 and Yr 4 families. A big thank you for all your efforts in feeding such a large group.

It truly was a night to remember and thanks again to all who contributed to making this event such a success.

The year six families provided a delicious nachos dinner at the Movie Night. This was supported by the following local businesses who gave generously with vouchers, produce and premium products at a discounted rate.

Peaches

South Fremantle IGA

Melville Woolworths

Frank’s Gourmet Meats.

And a big thank you to the school community who purchased dinner on the night. Funds raised from the dinner will assist with the cost of year six camp later this year.
