Education Week – Active Friday-19th May

Education Week 2023

On Friday 19th May, as part of Education Week 2023, the whole school will participate in a range of physical activities after lunch from 2:25pm-3:05pm, organised by our student leaders.  

We encourage students to wear activewear in their house colours on the day as house points will be awarded. 

Parents are also invited to come and watch on Friday. 

Locations and activities as follows:

• ELC & Prep – courtyard and surrounding asphalt area (obstacle course )    
• Year 1 – gym (rotational activities)
• Year 2 – basketball courts (rotational activities)
• Year 3 – synthetic oval (kickball tournament)
• Year 4 – council soccer oval (kickball tournament)
• Year 5 & 6 – council large oval (kickball tournament)

The afternoon event will be weather dependent.  Should the rain be likely to interfere, a decision will be made to cancel the event and students will partake in low-key house activities in the classroom instead.
