Upcoming Learning:

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Subject	Learning Focus
Reading	To interpret and analyse a wordless picture book (week 4)
Writing	To understand the organisation and structure of information texts (week 4 & 5).
Maths	To calculate the area of regular and irregular shapes using formal and informal means (week 4 & 5).
Civics & Citenship	To understand what our rights and responsibilities are as a global citizens.
Social & Emotional Learning	To explore the concept of gender identity.

Homework

This term Grade 5 students will have Spelling and Math homework. Spelling will be tested each Thursday and Math homework will be checked on a Wednesday.
