Principal's Message
Linda Buckeridge: Principal
I just want to acknowledge Paul Hill who took the role of Acting Principal in my absence at the start of the term. I really appreciate the support in being able to take two weeks leave and head overseas for a little sunshine and rest!
As mandated by the Department of Education, the Hillsmeade Primary School Annual Report for 2022 has been released via Compass and is also available on the school's website. Please don't hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions or comments regarding this report.
This week we have been celebrating and acknowledging Education Week. The theme of Active Learners has been incorporated into many aspects of the curriculum and during recess and lunch breaks. The SRC, under the guidance of Ms Beamish and Ms Wang, organised an array of games and activities at lunchtimes that students of all ages could participate in. A huge thank you to the SRC students and staff for their planning and implementation of such a fun choice of activities. We finish the week with our active afternoon on Friday, with house based competitions. Don't forget to wear your house colours!
